Grapes are an easy and fun snack year-round! Like watermelon, grapes are another fruit that is healthy for you and helps you to stay hydrated. Whenever my parents and I go to the beach in the summertime, Mom always packs grapes in our cooler. They are easy to pull off the stem and pop in to your mouth. In the Fall, Mom, Dad and I peel grapes for Halloween parties and use them as floating "eye balls" in fruit punch. Frozen grapes are a fantastic anytime treat as well!
Watermelon is a colorful and tasty way to stay hydrated on a hot summer day; it is over 91% water! The watermelon is juicy and sweet and contains vitamin C, vitamin A, copper, potassium and several B vitamins. Although watermelon can help with hydrating your body, that doesn’t mean that you should not also drink water. Watermelon is a fun and versatile snack that is good for you!

Water games like swim-tag and Marco Polo are always popular when we get together for a pool party. One can have fun swimming, but also stay safe at the same time.
Now that school is back in session, we have to make sure our kids are bringing healthy snacks that will get them through the day.
